INSIDER INFO – WDW Dining Reservation Info

Dining Reservations can be booked up to 180 day prior to check-in at your Disney Resort (on property guests), or 180 days prior to each dining reservation (off property guests).  If your trip is closer than that time, I recommend making your Dining Reservations ASAP, and please keep in mind that some restaurants may already be fully booked.  Therefore, it’s important to have some back-up plans and to be flexible.

You can either make your Dining Reservations on your own (through your My Disney Experience Account online or by calling Disney Dining), or you can email Vacation Candice a list of Requested Dining Reservations, and I will do my best to make the reservations for you.

Reservations are strongly recommended for ALL Table Service Meals including Character Dining, Signature Restaurants & Dinner Shows.  There is only one Quick Service location that requires reservations, Be Our Guest (breakfast & lunch).  Dinner at Be Our Guest is Table Service, and also requires a reservation.

Make your list of preferred Dining Options (Restaurant / Date / Time), and then make your back-up plan.  Email those to me, and I will gladly make those reservations for you (as best I can).

I can make your dining reservations using the credit card that I have on file for you, or you can contact me to use another card.  Your card will not be charged, unless you do not show up for your reservation (charges vary per location).

*Cinderella’s Royal Table and Special Tours REQUIRE FULL PAYMENT upon reservation booking.

*If you are on a Disney Dining Plan, you don’t have to pay for your meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table upon making your reservation.  Please, note:  Cinderella’s Royal Table takes 2 Table Service Credits per person (on the dining plan).

Please, also list who will be in your dining party, and if anyone has any special dietary restrictions/allergies.  You may also note how many high chairs and booster seats will be required.

You may also make a list of any additional entertainment experiences you would like to reserve (Experience / Date / Time).  These may be things like the Bippity Boppity Boutique, the Pirates’ League, a Dessert Party, VIP Tour, etc.

Let Candice know if there are any reservations that you wanted, but couldn’t get.

I keep a running list of hard-to-get dining reservations that I am looking for for my clients.  I make it a point to call Disney Dining regularly to check for openings.  This is not a guarantee that you will get these reservations, but I certainly do my best.  If you opt to have me search for difficult reservations, I strongly recommend that you continue looking for your desired reservations as well.  This way we can work together and have a better chance of finding what you want.  The best chance to find these reservations is 1-7 days prior to the desired reservation date, as that’s when people start dropping dining reservations.

Agency Exclusive Reservations Only:

*If your trip was booked as an Agency Exclusive offer, then it was booked through Disney’s Groups Department.  When these trips are booked, we use our Magical Vacations Travel address & phone number for the reservations.  If you call in to make your Dining Reservations, be aware that you may need to give them our Agency address and phone number:

PO Box 365, Haddon Heights, New Jersey 08035

Please, arrive and check-in at the restaurant 15 minutes prior to your reservation.

Please, allow 90 minutes of travel time within Walt Disney World to your dining location.

If you are using a Disney Dining Plan to pay for your meal, please be advised:  Gratuities are not included (with the exception of Cinderella’s Royal Table, Hoop-dee-doo Musical Review, Mickey’s Backyard BBQ & Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show).

When scheduling your day, it is best to expect character meals to take approximately 1.5 hours (in order for all of the characters to rotate throughout the dining room).

If you need to cancel a dining reservation, please do so as soon as possible.  Disney’s policy is that a reservation must be cancelled 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged (amount charged varies per location).  Please, contact me if you need any help with reservation cancellation while on vacation.

If you have scheduled an early morning breakfast (Table Service) that will take place prior to the parks’ opening, you will need to take the “Early Breakfast Bus” to your destination.  I recommend that you talk with someone at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort a day or two prior to the reservation to get the most accurate time for catching the Early Breakfast Bus.  You may also call for a taxi or Uber to pick you up at your resort and take you to your destination.
